Matt Dillahunty brought up a very valuable point Sunday

On AXP, a rather full of himself caller tried to come on and debate Matt. The guy started to bring up the 3rd law of motion, or whatever. (The assertion that something cannot come from nothing)
When asked if he would accept this notion, Dillahunty said no. I was puzzled, until he clarified. His response basically stated that the claim was nonsensical, because it assumes that something cannot come from nothing, when the only examples we have are of something coming from something. The premise of the man’s argument was taken and tossed away, basically. Tracy also made a sub-point, stating that we have no examples of a nothing to test and see if something can come from it.
